duplex paper

paper design ink offers some rare, heavy papers, but sometimes a heavier or more personalized paper is needed. that is why duplex papers were developed. in a process that was completely designed and perfected in-house, two or more sheets of paper are joined together and transformed into a thicker, board-like sheet. since each sheet can be a different color, the paper will have an attractive and unique duo-tone edge, or a rainbow colored one if more than two sheets are used. duplex papers are completely custom-made and produced only upon request.

in the past five years, Chris (designer and owner) has worked on numerous custom paper projects and spent time learning and honing techniques to improve her craft... by word of mouth, her clientele list has evolved, allowing her to "play with paper" full time... and with her english bulldog sammy under her desk, chris spends endless hours in her home studio, researching, drafting, assembling and perfecting her custom designs...
